Gambling should always be an enjoyable activity — never a financial solution or a source of stress. kp68 is committed to providing the tools, information and guidance you need to keep your play safe, within your means and in control.
Our Commitment
At kp68 we understand that for the vast majority of players — whether they are following Pakistan cricket at Karachi's National Stadium, tracking a PSL fixture from Lahore or watching a live UEFA Champions League night from Islamabad — betting is a form of entertainment. It is exciting, it adds engagement to the sport, and it is part of the experience millions of people enjoy across the world.
But we also understand that gambling carries real financial risk. Odds always favor the house. There is no guaranteed strategy, no "system" that defeats probability over time, and no betting market where the player has a mathematical edge over the long run. kp68 is built on the principle that an informed player is a safer player — and that means saying these things plainly, not hiding them in fine print.
A small percentage of players develop problematic gambling habits that affect their financial wellbeing, relationships and mental health. This page exists to help every kp68 user understand the warning signs, use the tools available to stay in control and know where to turn if gambling stops being fun and starts causing harm.
These principles apply equally whether you are a casual PSL bettor placing a PKR 500 wager on a Lahore Qalandars match or a regular player engaging with live casino tables every week. Responsible gambling is not a niche concern — it is the foundation of a sustainable platform.
Account Controls
These tools are accessible directly from your account settings. We encourage you to set them up proactively — before you feel you need them. They exist to support your control, not to restrict your enjoyment.
Set a maximum PKR amount that can be deposited into your account per day, week or month. Once set, this limit takes effect immediately and cannot be increased for 24 hours (daily), 7 days (weekly) or 30 days (monthly). Decreases take effect immediately. This is one of the most effective tools for controlling total spend.
Cap the total amount in PKR you can lose across betting and casino activity within a defined period. When your loss limit is reached, your account is automatically paused for the remainder of the relevant period. Loss limits provide a powerful safety net for players who want to cap their downside before a session starts.
Set a maximum session duration after which you will receive an on-screen alert or an automatic logout. Extended, uninterrupted gambling sessions are a risk factor for problematic behaviour. Scheduling regular breaks — especially during long PSL evenings or live casino sessions — is strongly recommended.
Take a short break from gambling by activating a cool-off period of 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days or 30 days. During a cool-off, you cannot log in to your account to place bets or access casino features. You can cancel a cool-off period but a waiting period applies before it is lifted. Use this tool whenever you feel your gambling is becoming too frequent.
Self-exclusion permanently or indefinitely blocks access to your kp68 account. This is the most serious tool available and is intended for users who believe their gambling is out of control. Once activated, self-exclusion cannot be reversed for the chosen duration. We strongly encourage anyone considering self-exclusion to also apply to other gambling operators they use. See Section below for the process.
You can opt out of all promotional communications — bonus offers, match-day notifications, casino offers — directly from your account settings or by contacting support. Removing exposure to promotional triggers is an important practical step for players managing their gambling habits. Opting out does not affect your account functionality.
Awareness
Problem gambling does not always look the same. It can develop gradually and is often not immediately obvious — even to the person experiencing it. The following signs are common indicators that gambling may be causing harm. If several of these apply to you, we strongly encourage you to use the kp68 responsible gambling tools and to seek support.
Spending more money on gambling than you originally planned or can realistically afford — going beyond your PKR budget on a regular basis.
Chasing losses — continuing to bet in an attempt to win back money you have already lost, often resulting in larger losses.
Gambling with money set aside for essential expenses such as rent, utility bills, food or school fees.
Hiding or lying about gambling activity, frequency or the amounts involved to family members or close friends.
Feeling restless, irritable or anxious when unable to gamble, or when trying to reduce or stop gambling activity.
Gambling to escape from stress, anxiety, depression, family problems or financial pressure rather than for entertainment.
Neglecting work, study, family responsibilities or social relationships because of time spent gambling.
Borrowing money, taking loans or selling assets to fund gambling activity or to cover gambling-related debts.
Self-Assessment
Answer honestly. If you find yourself agreeing with several of the statements below, it may be time to take a break and consider using kp68's responsible gambling tools or seeking support.
I have spent more on betting than I planned this week or month.
I have placed extra bets to try to recover money I have already lost.
I have thought about gambling when I should be focused on work, family or other responsibilities.
I have kept the amount I spend on gambling hidden from people close to me.
Gambling has made me feel anxious, guilty or stressed rather than entertained.
I have found it difficult to stop gambling once I have started a session.
I have used money from my household budget or savings to fund gambling.
Someone I trust has expressed concern about how much I gamble.
Best Practices
These habits make a real difference. They apply whether you are betting PKR 200 on a T20 match or playing live casino games during an ICC tournament evening.
Decide your maximum spend in PKR before opening the Platform. Write it down. When that amount is gone, the session ends — regardless of whether you are winning, losing or in the middle of a match.
Set a physical or phone timer to limit each betting session. Time passes quickly during live PSL or football matches. A 30- or 60-minute limit helps prevent sessions from extending beyond your intention.
This is the single most important rule. Placing a larger bet to recover a loss is a high-risk impulse decision made under stress. Accept the loss, close the session and return another day within your planned budget.
Alcohol, fatigue and emotional stress all reduce decision-making quality. Avoid placing bets when tired, upset, angry or after consuming alcohol. Your judgment is not at its best in these states and mistakes are more likely.
Reviewing your kp68 transaction history regularly is one of the most effective ways to stay honest about spending. Check your total deposits and losses for the month — not just your biggest wins. Most sessions result in net losses over time.
Betting on cricket, football or live casino games is healthiest when it sits comfortably alongside other activities — family time, work, exercise and social commitments. If gambling is displacing other priorities, that is an early warning sign.
Even the most knowledgeable cricket fan or sports bettor will lose more sessions than they win over time. The house edge is real and consistent. Enjoying the process of betting — not just the outcome — is the mindset of a sustainable player.
Keeping gambling completely secret from family or friends is a risk factor. If you feel you cannot discuss your betting with someone you trust, ask yourself why. Openness about gambling habits tends to act as a natural, healthy limit.
Taking a Break
Self-exclusion is the most powerful tool available to players who feel they need a complete break from gambling. kp68 takes self-exclusion requests seriously and processes them as a matter of priority.
Log in to your kp68 account and navigate to Account Settings > Responsible Gambling.
Select "Self-Exclusion" and choose your preferred duration — 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or indefinite.
Confirm your request. Self-exclusion is activated immediately and the Platform will log out your session.
Alternatively, contact support at [email protected] with the subject "Self-Exclusion Request" if you cannot access your account.
Once self-exclusion is activated:
Self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the minimum period has elapsed. This is intentional — it protects you during a period when you may be vulnerable to impulsive decisions.
Self-excluding from kp68 alone may not be sufficient if you regularly use other gambling platforms. We strongly recommend:
Applying for self-exclusion on every other gambling platform you use — most licensed operators offer this option in account settings or via customer support.
Blocking gambling-related websites using parental control or content filtering software available on Android and iOS devices.
Informing a trusted family member or friend of your decision to take a break — their support will make the exclusion period significantly more effective.
Seeking professional counselling if gambling has caused significant financial or emotional harm. Qualified support is available and seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
Financial Wellbeing
One of the most practical responsible gambling steps you can take is treating your gambling spend the same way you treat any other monthly expense — with a fixed, pre-decided budget that does not overlap with essential costs.
For Pakistani players, this means keeping your betting PKR entirely separate from money needed for rent, utility bills (WAPDA, SNGPL, KESC), mobile recharge, school fees, groceries and family expenses. Gambling should come from your discretionary entertainment budget — the portion you would otherwise spend on leisure activities.
A simple monthly review of your kp68 account transaction history takes two minutes and is one of the most honest ways to assess whether your gambling is within acceptable limits. If your total monthly deposits consistently exceed your planned entertainment budget, it is time to set a deposit limit.
This example is illustrative. Your personal budget depends on your individual financial situation. Never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose entirely.
Getting Help
If you believe gambling is causing harm to you or someone you care about, professional support is available. Reaching out for help is the right and courageous step. Below are general guidance points — always verify current contact details and availability directly.
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and motivational counselling have strong evidence bases for treating gambling disorder. Licensed psychologists and mental health professionals in Pakistan's major cities — Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Peshawar — offer these services. Ask your GP or family doctor for a referral.
In Pakistani culture, family support is a significant protective factor. If gambling has become a problem, being open with a family member you trust — a parent, sibling or spouse — can be the first and most meaningful step. You do not have to navigate this alone. Support from people who know you well makes recovery significantly more sustainable.
Pakistan's mental health infrastructure includes government-affiliated psychiatry departments in teaching hospitals in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, as well as private mental health clinics. Gambling disorder is a recognized behavioral health condition and is appropriately treated within a mental health framework. Seek support without stigma.
International responsible gambling organizations — including Gamblers Anonymous — maintain English-language forums, meeting schedules and self-help resources accessible online. These resources are available to users anywhere in the world and offer peer support from people with shared lived experience of problem gambling recovery.
Gambling-related debt is a common consequence of problem gambling. Certified financial counsellors can help you understand your financial position, prioritize essential payments and create a recovery plan. In Pakistan, several non-profit organizations and microfinance institutions offer financial literacy and debt guidance services — ask at your local bank or community center.
